Originally, graphic designer Silke Siefert originally designed the chubby-cheeked beaver bear Mister O'Lui for her twin boys. Now he is the main character of the label carrying the same name, and every day Silke Siefert puts all her heart and soul into the beautiful world she created. The nostalgic O'Lui world is neither garish nor loud, but rather thrives on warm colours, simple design and good values. A small world, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life that charmes young and old alike.

"Mister O´Lui"

is a small, unusual bear with big chubby cheeks; he wouldn't be a real beaver bear without them. Due to his extraordinary appearance he never really felt like he belonged with the other bears in the bear sanctuary. And so one day Mr O'Lui set off on a big, exciting journey - and found what he had always wanted: true friends who love him just the way he is!

The beaver bear gets a new home

Discover the stories of Mister O'Lui in his picture books - new from autumn 2024

One day, Mr O'Lui leaves the bear forest, where he has never really felt like he belongs, because with his big chubby cheeks he just looks completely different from all the other bears. His journey takes Mr O'Lui to a big city where he makes friends, each of whom is unique and who like the beaver bear just the way he is! From now on, Mr O'Lui lives happily in a cosy little wooden house in the city park. You can find out how he gets to know his new friend Rupert - a little striped pig - in his new book, which will be available from autumn 2024. 
The picture book and cardboard picture book will be published by Baumhaus/Lübbe Verlag from autumn 2024.
